ગાંધીનગર. ઉચ્ચ શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓએ રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિ 2020ના અમલીકરણમાં ઉત્તમ કાર્ય કર્યું છે. ગુજરાતની સેન્ટ્રલ યુનિવર્સિટીએ પણ NEPના મુદ્દાઓને યુનિવર્સિટીમાં આગવી રીતે લાગુ કરવામાં સફળતા મેળવી છે. શુક્રવારે “NEP 2020: શાળા અને ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ” વિષય પર એક સેમિનારનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. સેન્ટર ફોર સ્ટડીઝ એન્ડ રિસર્ચ ઇન એજ્યુકેશન, સ્કૂલ ઓફ એજ્યુકેશન દ્વારા આયોજિત આ સેમિનારમાં વક્તા તરીકે પ્રો. ટી.એસ.જોષી, અધ્યક્ષ ,ગીજુભાઈ બધેકા ચેર, ચિલ્ડ્રન યુનિવર્સિટી, ગાંધીનગર અને ગુજરાત ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ નિયામક પી.બી.પંડ્યા, આઈ.એ.એસ.ઉપસ્થિતરહ્યા હતા.આ પ્રસંગે પ્રો. જોશીએ કહ્યું કે રાષ્ટ્રીય અભ્યાસક્રમ ફ્રેમવર્ક દ્વારા NEP 2020માં વધુ સારું કામ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય એ છે કે શિક્ષણમાં વ્યક્તિના સર્વાંગી વ્યક્તિત્વના વિકાસનો સમાવેશ થવો જોઈએ. જેમાં શૈક્ષણિક જ્ઞાનની સાથે વિદ્યાર્થીને શારીરિક, માનસિક, નૈતિક અને વ્યવહારુ જ્ઞાનનું શિક્ષણ પણ મળવું જોઈએ. તેમણે કહ્યું કે ગુજરાત સરકારે અભ્યાસક્રમની થીમ આધારિત ‘ઉમ્બરી આંગણવાડી’ પ્રોગ્રામ જેવો સેટકોમ પ્રોગ્રામ તૈયાર કર્યો છે. આ સાથે આંગણવાડી પ્રવૃતિઓ માટે સાપ્તાહિક પ્રવૃતિઓનું કેલેન્ડર બનાવવામાં આવ્યું છે, આ ઉપરાંત ‘કુશળ ભારત’ની માર્ગદર્શિકા પણ ગુજરાતી ભાષામાં અનુવાદિત કરવામાં આવી છે. કાર્યક્રમમાં પધારેલ ગુજરાત શિક્ષણ નિયામક IAS પી.બી.પંડ્યાએ ગુજરાતમાં ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણમાં થયેલા અનેક ઉત્કૃષ્ટ કાર્યોની માહિતી આપી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું કે ગુજરાત સરકારે રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિના નિર્દેશોને અનુસરવા માટે એક રોડમેપ પણ તૈયાર કર્યો છે. રાજ્યમાં ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે સરકાર વિશ્વ કક્ષાની યુનિવર્સિટીઓ સ્થાપવા માટે પણ કામ કરી રહી છે. કાર્યક્રમના અધ્યક્ષસ્થાનેથી સેન્ટ્રલ યુનિવર્સિટી ઓફ ગુજરાતના કુલપતિ પ્રો. રમા શંકર દુબેએ કહ્યું કે ભારતમાં ઘણી શિક્ષણ નીતિઓ લાગુ કરવામાં આવી છે, પરંતુ NEP 2020 થી જ ભારતની જ્ઞાન પરંપરાને મુખર સ્વરૂપ મળ્યું છે. ભારતીય પરંપરાઓને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને, NCERT એ અભ્યાસક્રમ ફ્રેમવર્ક તૈયાર કર્યો છે. આ અવસરે તેમણે સેન્ટ્રલ યુનિવર્સિટી ઓફ ગુજરાતમાં નેશનલ એજ્યુકેશન પોલિસી પર થયેલા અભૂતપૂર્વ કામ વિશે માહિતી આપી હતી અને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, અમે રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિના તમામ મુદ્દાઓને ઝડપથી આત્મસાત કરવાનો સતત પ્રયાસ કરી રહ્યા છીએ, તેમણે કહ્યું કે, તમામ ઇચ્છિત શિક્ષણ નીતિ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવી છે. ધ્યેયો સિદ્ધ કરવાની આપણા સૌની નૈતિક જવાબદારી છે. કેન્દ્રના અધ્યક્ષ પ્રો. જે.એન. અમીને જણાવ્યું હતું કે રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિ 2020 બદલાતા શૈક્ષણિક વાતાવરણને સુધારવામાં અસરકારક સાબિત થઈ રહી છે. કાર્યક્રમના સંયોજક અને મદદનીશ પ્રોફેસર ડૉ.વાય. વિજયાલક્ષ્મીએ કહ્યું કે NEP 2020 વર્તમાન શૈક્ષણિક જરૂરિયાતોને પહોંચી વળવામાં મદદરૂપ સાબિત થઈ રહ્યું છે. આ કાર્યક્રમમાં શાળા અને કોલેજોના 110 પ્રતિભાગીઓએ ભાગ લીધો હતો.
National Education Policy 2020 is the need of the hour: Prof. Rama Shanker Dubey
Gandhinagar. Higher educational institutions have done a great job in implementing the National Education Policy 2020. The Central University of Gujarat has also succeeded in implementing the points of NEP prominently in the university. On Friday, a seminar on ‘NEP 2020: Schools and Higher Education’ was organised. Prof. TS Joshi, Gijjubhai Badheka Chair, Children’s University, Gandhinagar and Director of Gujarat Higher Education IAS P B Pandya attended the seminar, which was organised by Centre for Studies and Research in Education, School of Education. On this occasion, Prof. Joshi said the NEP 2020 has done better through the National Curriculum Framework. He said that the objective of the National Education Policy is that education should include the development of the overall personality of an individual. In this, the student should get education of physical, mental, moral and practical knowledge along with academic knowledge. He said that the Gujarat government has prepared a SETCOM curriculum themed program namely ‘Umbare Anganwadi’ for Aanganwaadi. Along with this, a calendar of weekly activities for Aanganwaadi activities has been created, apart from this; the guidelines of ‘NIPUN BHARAT’ have also been translated into Gujarati language. Director of Gujarat Education IAS P B Pandya, who was present at the seminar, gave information about many excellent works which has done in higher education in Gujarat. He said the Gujarat government had also designed a roadmap for compliance of the directions of the National Education Policy. The government is also working on setting up world class universities to promote higher education in the state. The programme was presided over by The Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat, Prof. Rama Shanker Dubey said that many education policies have been implemented in India but since NEP 2020, India’s knowledge system has got a vocal form. Keeping in mind NCERT has prepared the curriculum framework. He informed about the unprecedented work done on the National Education Policy in the Central University of Gujarat and said that we are constantly trying to assimilate all the points of the National Education Policy as soon as possible. Chairperson of the Centre Prof. J N Amin said that the National Education Policy 2020 is proving to be effective in improving the changing education environment. Dr. Y. Vijayalakshmi, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the program said that NEP 2020 is proving to be helpful. Around 110 students from schools and colleges participated.
